Stuffed Chicken Breast
Well, we finally got around to trying the stuffed Chicken that Sarah Hare posted. It was WONDERFUL! I didn't have rice crispies so I ground up Life cereal and added my garlic seasoning. (the stuff I usually put on garlic toast) We used Pablano pepper instead of Jalepeno. It will definitely be on our repeat list. We served it with mixed vegetables and lemon rice. Mmm, Mmm, Good!

I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
YUM! Count me in for trying that out really soon!
I never would have thought to use LIFE cereal with chicken before. Though I have been known to improvise other things. I once made a crumb crust for a pie that was supposed to be with Nilla wafers. It ended up being made with a combination of Nilla wafers, graham crackers, KIX, and fortune cookies! (p.s. it tasted great)
Yeah for improvising! I just blended the "Life" in my blender and added the seasoning, then rolled the chicken in it before baking. The cream cheese filling was great. Your crumb crust sounds great too. I think we should not be intimidated by trying different things in recipes.
I tried this with a Pablano and have to admit I enjoyed it better this way. I sent out as a ministry meal too with less pepper than I did for my family. I guess we'll find out if it was a hit for that. I called the lady first to make sure it would be ok or sounded to good to her.
This recipe sounds so yummy! I love your blog background too - so cute!
