Christmas Tag

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Both. I love to make fabric bags too.

2. Real tree or Artificial? It's been both over the years, our favorite is real.

3. When do you put up the tree? Anywhere from the day after Thanksgiving to the week before Christmas.

4. When do you take the tree down? Once it came down the day after Christmas, usually a week or so after...have left it up as late as the end of January.

5. Do you like eggnog? Love it! Especially homemade!

6. Favorite gift received as a child? So Many, can't recall

7. Hardest person to buy for? My parents.

8. Easiest person to buy for? Hmm...Someone different every year.

9. Do you have a nativity scene? A number of them.

10. Mail or email Christmas cards? BIG OOOPS. I have never sent e mail cards. I used to be very good at sending cards, but the last 3 years...NOTHING!

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Why is this question on the list?

12. Favorite Christmas Movie? Scrooge...A Christmas Carol

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? All Year

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Probably

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Yes...candy, goodies...pastries, breads...the list goes on.

16. Lights on the tree? As many as I can get...Bill has a 2 string limit I think, but he usually indulges me a little further than that:)

17. Favorite Christmas song? Hard to tell, I love Christmas music!

18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? We've done both...when we had kids at home it was harder to travel. Staying at home enabled us to create and treasure many Christmas traditions.

19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Absolutely!

20. Angel on the tree top or a star? Angel...actually I have a collection of angels, so the last few years it's been a different one each year. I always have one to share if someone needs one.

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Only one on Christmas eve, and that was always pajamas.

23. Favorite ornament theme or color? I have lots of red...love ice sicles and snowflakes, I have a lot of angels too. Our first year in Tooele we got a live tree and had it flocked with white snow. It was gorgeous with red ornaments and ice sicles on it!

24. Favorite sense of the season (sight, hearing, smell, touch, taste)? Being me, I love them all...If I had to single one out I guess it would be the smells. MMMmmm...It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

That was fun to read! Thanks for helping my family to create so many Christmas memories. So many of our traditions were ideas that came from you!

It was nice to read about your Christmas thoughts, comparing them to what I remember and what we do now :)
